As of the 1st of June, 2006 any rear mounted bike rack or bicycle fitted to it can not obscure any light (including the centre mounted stop light) or the number plate.

Therefore you will need to use a Thule lightboard BA 976.

This can be used on any Thule Towball, Hitchmount, Spare Wheel or Strap-On Bike carrier at the rear of your vehicle.

Straps and screws for mounting are included, also a round and flat 7 pin plug is also included.
